Our Story

Casa is rooted in the food and culture of Portugal. Shaped by our shared love of hosting and sharing, we bring this spirit to London through wholesome Portuguese cooking grounded in quality ingredients and provenance.

Taking inspiration from co-founder Marco’s upbringing in Southern Portugal, and his memories of fire-cooking, family meals and trips to the local food markets, Casa means home.

We look forward to welcoming you with open arms.

Our Food

Our food is simple and ingredient-led. In the spirit of tascas (local eateries found across Portugal) our menu is centred around the wood-charcoal grill and dishes are designed to be shared, family-style.

Our signature Frango Piri-Piri is cooked over open flames for a smoky char and brushed with our blend of chilli, oil and spices, as is tradition.

Our drinks take the same ingredient-led approach. Our house Boa Pinga wine, selected from Monçāo in northern Portugal, is made for sharing and enjoyed easily alongside our food.

Our Suppliers

Our ingredients are at the heart of our dishes. We source all of our meat through our partners, family-run butchery HG Walter. Our signature Frango Piri-Piri uses higher welfare chicken from a single farm. We also partner with London-based fishmonger, Bethnal Fish.

Portugália is our Portuguese specialist supplier, connecting us with small producers across Portugal, from family-run farms to traditional makers, allowing us to bring quality, authentic products to our table.

Our Team
